Always Independent.
Always Student-first.
Never Corporate.

When Aristotle Prep launched in 2010, no test prep company in India had its own content. Everyone was simply using content (some legally, some illegally:) produced by the large American test prep companies. We decided to change things and create our own content. At a time when "Made in India" and "world-class test prep content" weren't phrases that belonged in the same sentence, we set out to prove they could be.
What started as a tutoring operation in India quickly found students in places we hadn't anticipated — the US, the UK, Singapore, Europe, the Middle East. For years, many of those students assumed Aristotle Prep was an American company. We took that as a compliment. Today, our students span 40+ countries and every major test-prep market in the world.
The SC Grail, RC Grail, and CR Grail became the resources that put Aristotle Prep on the global map. Published by Wiley — the same company that publishes the GMAT Official Guide — the Grail series was a statement that world-class GMAT content could come from India. Thousands of students across 80+ countries have used these books to prepare for the GMAT, and many of them still do.
The books established what Aristotle Prep knows. The courses are how we're making that knowledge accessible to a new generation of test-takers. DI Grail — our first video course, built exclusively for the GMAT Focus Edition's Data Insights section — is the beginning of that next chapter. The RC Grail and CR Grail courses follow later this year.
Aristotle Prep has never been venture-backed, never been acquired, and never been run by anyone other than the people who built it. That independence is deliberate — it means every decision we make is about what's best for the student, not what's best for a board of investors. That was true in 2010, and it's true today.

As the CEO and Content Head at Aristotle Prep, Sarfraz is an authority at everything related to overseas education.
Realizing that education was the sector to look out for in the future, Sarfraz moved into this domain as the National Convener for Kaplan Test Prep, the world’s largest test prep company, before going on to co found Aristotle Prep in 2010.
One of those rare individuals who excels at both test preparation and Admission consulting, Sarfraz is extremely sought after for his views during industry events. Over the last 17 years, he has taught more than 3500 students across the globe and authored over a dozen books on how to ace Indian and international standardised tests like the GMAT, GRE, and SAT. His books are published by the renowned publishing house Wiley and are sold in more than 80 countries on all popular websites like amazon, Barnes and Noble, etc.
As an Admission consultant, Sarfraz has mentored more than 1000 students in getting into their dream universities abroad, both at the undergraduate and post graduate level. He has students in every school from Harvard to Stanford to INSEAD.
A powerful speaker, Sarfraz has more than 300 videos on YouTube covering every aspect of studying abroad.
"I started Aristotle Prep because I believed serious students deserved serious preparation — not cookie-cutter courses or recycled material. That belief hasn't changed. What has changed is the format — and DI Grail is my attempt to bring everything I know about the GMAT DI section into a single, structured resource that works for students anywhere in the world"

Being weak at Critical Reasoning, I pretty much referred to almost all the CR books out there and I can say without any doubt that CR Grail is the best and the most comprehensive of the lot. The best part about the book is the manner in which it covers all the concepts without getting verbose or using too many lines. The book is crisp and covers everything needed to ace the CR questions on the GMAT. A special mention for the practice question set that I found very useful.
Kevin Lee, GMAT 770
The RC Grail is the best book for Reading Comprehension. I am a non-native speaker and the strategies mentioned in this book greatly helped me improve my accuracy rate in the verbal section of the GMAT. The passages in the book are from every possible topic and the questions are also very GMAT-type, so it prepares you very well for what you are likely to see on the actual test. Every passage coms with a passage map which is a bonus. Highly recommended!

I would highly recommend the Aristotle Writing Grail to everyone for three reasons – excellent coverage of grammar concepts, large number of practice questions and some excellent strategies in a separate chapter. I also found the accompanying videos extremely useful and insightful.

If Data Insights is holding your GMAT score back, it's not because you're not smart enough. It's because nobody has taught you how to approach it properly.
DI Grail changes that.
